Major grant received from the Swedish Research Council

The University of Gothenburg has received a major grant from the Swedish Research Council for recruiting Professor Paul Russell (University of British Columbia), who has been brought to lead and further develop the research group that is being funded by this award. Russell will spend half his time in Gothenburg. The grant, which is part of SRC's program to attract internationally leading researchers to Sweden, will also fund graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, visiting scholars and conferences over the coming decade.
